One Community Church (OCC) is having a local mission trip in Dallas Texas in conjunction with Mount Sinai Baptist Church. OCC normally has their sports mission trip in the Dominican Republic, but the church's host is moving to Canada. Instead of cancelling this year's sports mission, OCC elected to do a local event by partnering with Mount Sinai in an area that is starving for God's helping hand.

The purpose of the event is to encourage young kids through sports and have them get to know the Lord Jesus Christ with the hopes that hearing the word will light a fire in them to want to know more and eventually accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. 

This mission trip is catering towards the kids, but we are hoping the kids desire will translate into the hearts of their parents and in turn have the entire family seeking God.
